Product information

Measurements on shaftdiameters smaller than 30mm (1.2 in) usually require close spacing of radial vibration or axial position transducers. This creates the potential for their electromagnetic emittedfields to interact with oneanother (cross-talk),resulting in erroneousreadings. To preventcross-talk, maintain minimum separation oftransducer tips of at least25 mm (1.0 in) for axialposition measurements or23 mm (0.9 in) for radialvibration measurements.See Figure 14:   Probe Crosstalk with Probes Mounted inParallel and Figure 15:  Probe Cross-talk with Probes Mounted in XYConfiguration. Connectorprotectors are recommended for use on theprobe-to-extension cable connection, as well as on the cable-to-Proximitor Sensorconnection.
