Werecommend that you use8 mm probes whenpossible to provide optimal robustness againstphysical abuse.Each 3300 XL extension cable includessilicone tape that you can use instead ofconnector protectors. We do not recommendsilicone tape for applications that will exposethe probe-to-extension cable connection toturbine oil.When yourapplication requires narrow side view probes,use the 3300 NSv Proximity Transducer System(refer to Document 147385).The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporatesnumerous improvements over previousdesigns. Its physical packaging allows you touse it in high-density DIN-rail installations.
